We are monitoring the situation as information about the virus is changing rapidly. We do not wish to contribute to the spread or panic about this virus. To that effect, please telephone us with any questions concerning your current care and risks.

Do NOT come to office if you any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus of have a recent travel history. If you are unsure, please telephone us and we can advise you.

Symptoms:

  • Cough

  • Fever

  • Shortness of Breath

Severe Symptoms:

If you have any of these symptoms you should seek medical attention immediately:

  • Difficulty breathing or Shortness of breath

  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest

  • New confusion or difficulty to arouse

  • Bluish lips or face

  • If any of these symptoms are present, you should telephone your PCP for instructions. They may instruct you to come for testing or report to the nearest Emergency Department.  We do NOT diagnose or treat COVID-19

Prevention:

The CDC recommends following these preventative actions to protect yourself.  There is currently no vaccine to prevent

COVID-19.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Keep distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.  (Older adults and people who have severe underlying chronic medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. Please consult with your health care provider about additional steps you may be able to take to protect yourself).

Special Notice: COVID-19 update

The Fertility Center, LLC takes the health and safety of our patients, their families, employees and our local communities very seriously, and we are actively responding to the COVID-19 public health issue.

While cleaning practices at our offices routinely meet or exceed CDC standards, we have enhanced these to include a deep and thorough surface cleaning of all counters, treatment tables, sinks, and doors in our offices.  Our priority is to ensure the safety of patients and employees.

The most effective way to prevent the spread of disease are things you do yourself. We strongly encourage everyone to follow these recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home when you are sick.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • If you're experiencing symptoms and have traveled to areas of concern (or have been in contact with someone who has), call ahead to your health-care provider before you go in person. Arrange for special transportation to and from your medical appointment. Do not use public transportation.

We will continue to closely monitor, evaluate and respond to the COVID-19 situation as it evolves.
