Don't Forget
If you’re facing infertility, sometimes (OK, most of the time) it can seem all-consuming. Our brains are always thinking, and even when you’re focused on something else – your job, exercising, taking care of your home – you’re probably still analyzing the situation.
Don’t Let Infertility Consume You
While that’s perfectly normal, it’s a good idea to be intentional about still living your life. Infertility is a major part of every day, but other important parts still exist: family, friends, hobbies, maybe a job you’re passionate about, a cause you’re committed to, etc. Try to put more energy into those priorities, and continue to live your life while wading through infertility. You’ll find that perhaps some of your anxiety is alleviated as you enjoy your time, and you’ll find more satisfaction in the midst of your struggle.
You might have seen the trending hashtag #100happydays. Even if it’s a small thing that makes you smile, an indulgence, or finding joy in an everyday occurrence, investing in other areas of your life is also an important part of your journey to having a child.
