How lunch can help you lose weight

Eating healthy throughout the day can be a challenge – endless snacking, stress eating, or just plain old being hungry and choosing tasty but not-so-healthy foods to satisfy your craving. Beth, one way to keep the calorie count low, helping to shave off unnecessary pounds and be as healthy as you can, is to eat a light lunch. Aiming to keep your body very healthy will increase your chances of conception.

 

Up to One Pound Lost Per Week

In a recent study conducted by Cornell University, participants who ate a light lunch – while still eating whatever they wanted for the rest of the day – ate 250 fewer calories per day. This helped them lose an average of one pound every two weeks (a healthy amount of weight lost in that time period). In the study, those eating a smaller lunch did not eat more later in the day to make up for it, even though they had access to a full buffet full of many choices throughout the day.
