Adjustable Exercises for Fertility

Having healthy habits such as a regular exercise routine can directly affect your fertility chances. While strenuous, high-impact activities are not advised for women looking to get pregnant, there are still many options available. Check out these ideas to add to your life, which will both increase your odds of conceiving, and make you feel and look great!

Exercise Options

  • Walking: make sure it’s brisk to get your heart rate up, and try to walk almost every day.

  • Yoga and Tai Chi: Maintaining poses for several seconds uses many of your muscle groups andalso pumps your heart rate, even if it might look simple.

  • Swimming: A great whole-body workout that works your core while you feel much lighter with the water holding you up!

  • Dance: A fun way to mix it up, you can incorporate ballet, ballroom dancing, or some basic jazz steps into a routine without the jumping that happens in Zumba or hip hop.

  • Ride a bike: without tackling too many hills or using too high of a gear, a bike ride (indoors or out) can be a great way for some low-impact exercise.
